Durham County Extension Service Photograph Collection
The Durham County Extension Service Photograph Collection consists of 32 photographs of work done by the Extension Service in the 1920s through 1940s. Durham-Orange County Medical Auxiliary records
The collection includes standard administrative records of the auxiliary, including annual reports (“histories”) and annual yearbooks. Of particular note are the documents from auxiliary’s biography project, which sought to gather biographies for all doctors who practiced in Durham or Orange counties.

King's Daughters Sheltering Home Circle records
King's Daughters Sara Barker Circle records
The bulk of the collection includes minute books and scrapbooks documenting the work of Sara Barker and the Sara Barker Circle from 1948 to 2005. Materials on the history of the organization and the biography of Sarah Barker are also included. The collection includes one box of photographs, which are mostly unidentified.
National Council of Negro Women - Durham Section records
The collection primarily contains programs from the section’s annual events, particularly the Harambee Breakfast and the Mary McLeod Bethune Recognition Program. Color photographs taken at these annual events are included, although subjects are largely unidentified. The collection also includes a small amount of administrative materials, including some correspondence, an issue of the section’s newsletter, and local newspaper clippings.
The Study Club records
The Study Club Records consists of nine scrapbooks, programs, and papers documenting the activities of the Study Club. The scrapbooks contain programs, photographs, clippings, and correspondence describing the activities of the club and the individual members. The collection also includes yearly rosters listing the club’s membership.
Tuesday Morning Study Group records
The collection includes correspondence, administrative and financial documents, and memorabilia collected from group activities. The bulk of the collection is a fairly comprehensive span of meeting minutes from 1977-2005. The collection includes a small number of unidentified photographs.

Up-to-Date Club records
The Up-to-Date Club records consists of club programs, notes, records, book lists, and record books documenting the activities of the club. The collection includes programs with membership lists and early book lists.
Women’s Clubs of Durham collection
Woodcroft Women's Club records
The Woodcroft Women's Club Records, 1987-2015, contains meeting minutes of board members and general members, newsletters and newspaper articles.
